Most Americans do not really understand how our economy works or how we keep funding the budget. They just assume it is all OK, it will all work out, it is normal and nothing to worry about. This is the real danger…ignorance, selfishness, and laziness by the citizens. The politicians, and especially the political elite, know exactly where we are…how close we are to a financial collapse. They continue to bet on pushing the debt forward but they have already taken care to protect themselves. How many have off shore accounts and investments? I think it would shock you if you knew. Unfortunately our economic health could be likened to a pregnant woman almost to full term yet she is still trying to pretend she is not pregnant and there is no baby coming.
