Oregon Junior Senator Jeff Merkley, who just endorsed Senator Bernie Sanders for President recently wrote the following;  “It is time to recommit ourselves to that vision of a country that measures our nation’s success not at the boardroom table, but at kitchen tables across America”. The Junior Senator is right on the mark to suggest we must look at things from the kitchen table first.  Unfortunately he is backing Senator Sanders the Socialist, who if elected, would only make things worse.

Yesterday, in a written speech, Donald Trump spoke directly to the American people asking the question; “How has the current system been working for you and your families”?

Mr. Trump went on to illustrate how the delegate system in both parties has been controlling elections for many years. The idea that in our electoral process we do not base the nominees in both parties on the straight vote totals by the respective voters has been a revelation for most Americans.

This is why Senator Sanders can win the last 7 out of 8 primaries and the DNC and Media report there is no chance he can beat Hillary Clinton because she has over 400 “Super Delegates”. It is also why Donald Trump can be millions of votes ahead and the RNC and Media keep saying he will be unable to reach the 1137 delegates needed for the nomination.

Donald Trump has been right on this all along. His detractors say he is a whiner, a poor loser, a complainer. They say he has been too lazy to learn how the system works. Well we should all be thanking Donald Trump for pushing all the wrong buttons, for not playing along to get along, and for standing up for the future of our children and grandchildren.

Is Donald Trump flawed? You bet, but show me a person who is not. Want to see a quick summary of Kasich’s so called “Washington Outsider” tack record? Look him up on Wikipedia. Same goes for Ted Cruz.

I know this; America has a $19 trillion dollar debt and it is growing. We have had our so called leaders in Washington sign on to TPP, the Iran Nuke deal, and the numerous fat cat lobby deals that have nothing to do with our nation’s prosperity.  Most Americans today would answer Donald Trump’s question with a very clear…not been going well at all Donald!

The boardroom profits do not “trickle down” to our kitchen tables.  The system is rigged, and has been for a long time. We can no longer afford to let our “bought and paid for leaders” take us over the economic cliff.  Donald Trump is sincere in his desire to try to save our jobs, eliminate our debt, build a future of opportunity and prosperity for our children and grandchildren. He really does want to …“Make America Great Again”!

I say we give him the chance to try.   Mk
