THIRD SUNDAY OF LENT: Today, March 19, 2017 is the third Sunday of Lent. Lent is the time leading up to Easter Sunday in the Christian calendar. Lent is a time of self assessment, repentance, and prayer, for self and others. During Lent Christians are not only looking inside but are also looking forward to Easter Sunday which is the celebration of the Resurrection of Christ and the sealing of our forgiveness in Christ’s sacrifice for all mankind’s sins.

FEAST DAY OF ST. JOSEPH: March 19th is the Feast Day of St. Joseph. ” Hail Joseph husband of Mary, the Lord is with you.
